Description: Boudignon moved to the Loire from Bordeaux in 2009 to begin making wines under his own name. Working biodynamically in vineyards in Anjou and Savennieres, he is largely a one man operation, opting to spend most of his time taking care of the vines. Known mainly for his Chenin Blanc, he also produces this stellar rose of Cab Franc and Grolleau, farmed from a single site in Anjou on schist, volcanic and clay soils. Crunchy berry fruits, firm acidity, and a mean mineral streak define this bottle.
