Description: Pikasi is the négociant project of winemaker and professional ballroom dancer Matic Rodica from organic, dry-farmed fruit purchased from Vipava Valley winegrower Peter Stegovec. The Rebula is hand picked and destemmed before a quick 3 day skin maceration in stainless steel. It then goes to neutral oak for 8 months before another 4 months back in stainless and bottled unfiltered. The result is a wine that has nice roundness on the palate, marked by lots of baked apple, spice and herbs, with the right amount of acidity to carry its weight.
