Description: Chardonnay and Sav Blanc coming from rocky clay and limestone soils. Hand harvested, 1/2 destemmed and fermented and aged on the skins in large used oak for up to a year before another 20 months in used oak barrels before bottling with fining, filtration or sulphur additions. This is a big orange that will go the distance in the cellar but drinks wonderfully now and unfolds gracefully once opened. Absolutely demands stinky cheese, roasted meats and food of all sorts.
