Description: Chidaine has been working out of Montlouis in the Loire since taking over for his father in 1989. Since the early 2000's his vineyards have been certified organic and biodynamic and he's been crafting wines of precision and place with a deft hand. His Touraine Sauvignon Blanc comes from his own biodynamically farmed vineyards outside of the villages of Montrichard & Chissay-en-Touraine. Chalky limestone and clay soils lead to a crisp, classic expression of Loire Sauvignon Blanc, full of bright citrus, mouthwatering acidity, and a lengthy mineral-driven finish. A Savy B that punches well above its price point.
