Description: CantinArte is an Abruzzo producer of both organic wines and olive oils. Their vineyards are split between their lower lying parcels dedicated to reds and some of the highest elevation vineyards (~740 MAS) for their Pinot Grigio and Pecorino. Red clay and chalky limestone bedrock at elevation give their Pecorino a verve that one wouldn't expect. The ripe fruit profile of peach, orange blossom and honeysuckle pair with well-integrated acidity and a slightly saline, mineral-laden finish. A bigger style white for those averse to more unctuous examples.
