Description: The Cantalapiedra estate has been around since 1949 with each generation focused on farming mostly Verdejo in the traditional manner, in opposition to many of their neighbors’ attempts to industrialize. This wine comes from their Las Escuclillas vineyard. It sees 12 hours on the skins before fermentation in stainless and 8 months on the lees. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Citrusy, zesty, spicy and earthy, a white wine for someone looking for a blast of flavor.
