Description: Baudry is a name that is synonymous with Chinon. Since 1975, Bernard, now joined with his son Matthieu, have been crafting Cab Franc from various, highly diverse parcels in their vineyards, bottling many of them separately. Les Granges comes from a lower lying plot from ~40 year old vines on sandy and gravelly soils. Fermented and aged in concrete, this wine has a pronounced freshness with red berry, savory herbs, a little barnyard. Luscious on the palate, this is just a classic bottle everyone should try.
