Description: Another Baudry Chinon, this one coming from the Le Domaine lieu dit on the upper slopes along the Vienne on a mix of gravel and limestone soils. Gravel gives it freshness while the limestone adds more structure. Fermented in concrete and aged for 15 months in a mix of old oak and concrete before bottling. A bit more structured and serious than the more playful Les Granges, but still bursting with the same red fruit and savory leafiness. This is a benchmark Chinon.
